New 2012 movies being filmed

It’s amazing how many 2012 movies are in the works! It looks like two of them will turn out to be major motion pictures - with big budgets.

2012: The Prophecy of the Serpent - Two reliable Mexican newspapers have recently reported that Russell Crowe will shoot his next movie at Chichen Itza. Supposedly the film will be released in 2009. The screenplay was written by Alberto Haggar Gonzales. According to Gonzales, the plot is centered around the legacy of the Mayan world in 2012 and will be the end of time for the human race. Humans will be forced to embrace spirituality or die.

The Dark Rift by Destiny Pictures - The plot… Every 25,800 years, our solar system passes through the Galactic Plane, known to the Mayans as The Dark Rift, causing worldwide devastation, and wiping out entire Civilizations. On December 21st, 2012….it happens again..

Title Not Yet Announced -The latest news about this movie is that the screenplay was written by the director of Independence Day, Roland Emmerich, and has been sold to Sony pictures - expected to be a big budget movie about 2012.
